About
Inge M Frank is a woman on a mission - striving for excellence, embracing continuous learning, and allowing her artistic practice to evolve organically over time.
An adventurous world traveller, Inge draws deep inspiration from the beauty of her surroundings and the richness of nature. Her work reflects a lifelong passion for colour and a love of home and garden. This is especially evident in her extensive collection of traditional still life paintings, featuring fruit, botanicals, and treasured objects gathered during her travels.
Born in 1948 in Sydney, Australia, Inge has lived across Australia, Thailand, and the United States. Remarkably, she only began painting in 2010 at the age of 61 and now dedicates herself to painting full-time.
While living in Florida, Inge immersed herself in art communities, attending workshops and engaging with fellow artists. After returning to Australia in 2019, she continued to refine her skills through further study in portraiture, botanical art, and oil painting on paper.
The quality and depth of her work stand as a testament to the idea that artistic talent can flourish at any stage of life.
Inge is an active member of the Artist Society of Canberra, a supportive and vibrant creative community. She regularly participates in their Open Studios program. With an extensive body of work available, Inge also accepts commissioned pieces. Through her art, she hopes to evoke fond memories, inspire a sense of peace and tranquillity, and remind viewers of the ever-present beauty and colour in everyday life.
